Tourist Visa: Contact the Cameroonian Diplomatic Mission in your country or its representative. Generally the following are required, your passport, two-way air ticket, 2 passport sized photographs and an equivalent of 45 euros. You will obtain your visa after 24 hours if you meet the requirements above.

Vaccinations: Vaccinations against yellow fever is imperative; and against meningitis if you want to stay for long in the Northern part of Cameroon. Anti-malarial drugs is recommended.

Climate: In the south, the equatorial forest region exhibits 4 seasons; one short and one long rainy season and one short and one long dry season. Generally the wet season lasts from 15th March to the beginning of November, and the dry season extends from November to March.

In the western plateau (North West and West provinces) there is one rainy season that extends from 15th March to mid November and one dry season that extends from mid-November to mid March.

In the north, the rainy season extends from June to the end of September. The dry season from October to the end of May.
